- Why has Battlegrounds Mobile been developed for India?
Answer: The Indian Government, Ministry of Information and Technology (MIT) of Government of India (GOI) had banned 118 Chinese developed apps on 2 September, 2020. The list also included the very popular PUBG Mobile game which was globally produced by the Chinese company - Tencent Games in some way. Following the news, the PUBG Mobile Officials had made some changes to their privacy policy in order to comply with the terms. But sadly, the ban was not lifted and none could see any cle out. Thus, the Krafton Games - a Korean company (founder of PUBG) terminated their contract with Tencent Games and concentrated on a mission to develop PUBG Mobile India Game, especially for India with their own data centers and the control of Indian Government over the data. As a result, the Battlegrounds Mobile India is set to release sooner as a replacement.

Answer: The release date of the game is unpredictable. It could launch as soon as today or it might make us wait for a little long. Afterall, the trailer had been released after a long duration.

6 May 2021 : Coming Soon Video Uploaded to YouTube and Facebook. Along with it, display name of all social media handles of PUBG Mobile India Official were changed into Battlegrounds Mobile India.
7 May 2021 : The logo of BGM India was revealed on this day. It has the nationalistic feel of India's national flag in it.
14 May 2021 : Krafton confirmed the date of pre-registrations for the game which would be on 18 May in Playstore.
18 May 2021 : Krafton keeps Battlegrounds Mobile India for pre-registrations in Playstore for Android users of India only. iPhone users and those living out of India are not be able to pre-register for the game.
