PMGC 2020 Schedule and Format
PMGC 2020 will be played in two halves: The League Stage and the Grand Finals. The League Stage has been further divided into League Days and Super Weekends.
The League Stage will be played for 4 weeks from November 24, 2020.
In the league days of league stages, all 24 qualified teams will compete against one another on group basis [eg: AvB, AvC, and BvC]. As a whole, every league days will be played for 2 days i.e. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A total of 12 matches (6 matches per day) will be played. And, each team can play a total of 8 matches in the league days.
Then, the overall standings of League Days will decide the top 16 teams that will qualify for the Super Weekends.
There will be a one day gap in between these two events (League Days and Super Weekends).
In Super Weekends, only 16 teams will be playing all the matches. 5 matches will be played each day for a total of 3 days (i.e. Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays).
The overall standings will be counted and stored of the Super Weekends whereas the overall standings of League days of each teams will be set to zero after the end of the Super Weekends (I.e. Sundays).
This process will be continued and lopped until December 20, 2020 where we will get out final Top 16 teams who will qualify for the Grand Finals of PMGC 2020.
The start date of the Grand finals hasn't been made public yet.
Groups (Teams)
Teams have been divided into three different groups. Each group has 8 teams. These teams will be playing against one another on group basis. Only two groups i.e (A and B) or (A and C) or (B and C) wil play a single match. Here is the group division of all participating teams.

Qualification:
According, to Liquipeida.net/pubg, qualification will be open for teams from South East Asia, South Asia, Taiwan, East Asia, North America, Europe, Middle East, CIS, South America, China, South Korea and Japan.
Teams will be selected from some major regional championships. The winners of PMWL, both East and West Regions will be invited to the PMGC. Similarly, 2 teams will be qualified from the PEL 2020 ChampionShip (China Region). Other teams will be selected from the respective PMPL's of their regions. Whereas, one each team will be selected from South Korea and Japan region by Street Challenge 2nd Half and Japan League, respectively.

This event will be divided into two stages having half prizepool of the total amount. One will be the league stage where a total of 20 teams from different regions will compete against one another. This stage will have a total prizepool of $1 Million. There won't be much difference in the prize amount received by the top teams and the bottom teams in this stage.
After the league stage, only the top 16 teams of the overall leaderboards will continue their journey to PMGC Grand Finals. This grand finals will also have a prizepool of $1 million. The difference in the prize amount received by the top teams and the bottom teams will be more than the league stage.
