6th position = 4 points

7th points = 2 points

8th position - 12th position = 1 point

13th position - 16th position = 0 point

PMPL S2 Points System:

PUBG Mobile Professional League 2020 Season Two used the above mentioned points distribution system in every matches. In fact, all upcoming PUBG Mobile Tournaments will use the same points distribution system until a new one gets announced.

This point system will be continued from PMPL season 2 onwards in every PUBG Mobile Tournaments.

During the beginning of PUBG Mobile Esports Journey, 20 teams used to play one competitive match. As now the days are progressing, only 16 teams can play one single match in a tournament, organized officially by PUBG Mobile Esports.

Therefore, it had been really necessary to balance the points table to maintain fairness in the games.

As in the recent days, teams that would lose three of their players in the early stages, got way too many points when the remaining player hid himself in a shack or bushes that don't determine his skills. This doesn't make him a contender to be participating in the Esports scene.

This new points table will ask the players to eliminate the whole squad at once because you would be getting zero points if your team gets Eliminated at position 13 or below.

The difference between the 1st and 2nd place teams has also been reduced. Previously, teams would get 20 points on Chicken Dinner and 14 points on accomplishing 2nd position. Now, teams that finish on the #2 will receive 12 points and the team that wins the match will receive 15 points. The difference has been reduced by 3 points.

If one team got three chicken dinners consecutively, they would be getting 60 position points but now, they would be getting just 45 points.

So, finishing off in the first, second, positions won't matter much if you cannot score kills in the game.

This new points table will greatly impact every tournament positively. Hopefully, PUBG MOBILE guarantees such rules.
