Competing in a tournament is never easy unless you know the rules and the information of how you get rewarded during the matches. Points System and the PMCO Rules are two of the most important things to consider before playing the Online Qualifiers of PUBG Mobile Clubs Open 2021 Spring Split. Here in this blog, we will give you an overview of the points system of 2021 and the rules that you and your squad has to follow during the matches.
Introduction:
PUBG Mobile Clubs Open Online Qualifiers have begun from the 1st of February, 2021 and will continue to the 7th of February, 2021. PMCO is divided into 27 regions this year. Any player who had registered their teams in this PMCO can compete for their spots in the group stage of their respective PMCOs. For this, they would have to play the in-game qualifiers during the designated time i.e. 7pm - 9pm GMT.
Players can play three matches each day: Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok. Vikendi shall not be entertained in PMCOs this year.
Points System:
The points system for the PMCO Qualifiers have not changed. All the matches will follow the PMCO 2020 Points Distribution System that is heavily based on the position points. In standard PUBG Mobile Points System, a team securing the winner winner chicken dinner receives 15 position points but in PMCO points system, the team gets twice the normal point i.e. 30 placement points.
Here is the actual points distribution table for PMCO 2021 Online Qualifiers:
Position | Placement Points |
1 | 30 |
2 | 22 |
3 | 19 |
4 | 16 |
5 | 14 |
6 | 12 |
7 | 10 |
8 | 8 |
9 | 7 |
10 | 6 |
11 | 5 |
12 | 4 |
13 | 3 |
14 | 2 |
15 | 1 |
16 | 0 |
For each kill, a team is rewarded with 1 extra points.
Though the placement points are a lot, teams will definitely need to consider the kill points. No team can simply rely on their position points without even getting a single kill.
Here are some of our quick tips:
- A normal lobby in PMCO consists of 16 teams. Multiplying it by 4, there should be at least of 64 players in the lobby. If your lobby doesn't fulfill this criteria, exit the match and restart it.
- Drop down in your original drop location. Do not make a mistake to drop down in other places than your comfort zone just to get more kills. Though it is, high risk, high rewards. Keep in mind, you just get 7 chances.
- Keep Calm. Listen to the calls of your IGL. And, enjoy the game.
Rules:
Each player has to follow the normal rules as one does while playing a game. However, there are some additional points to keep into consideration.
Use your smartphones:
You may only use your smartphone to play games. Ipad or Emulator shall not be accepted. Players would be disqualified, if found.
Avoid using third party applications:
It is strictly prohibited to use any third party applications during PMCOs. You may use recording softwares to record your matches but additional softwares to increase your smartphone's performances such as GFX Tools shall not be used.
Play matches during the specified time:
You shall start each of your matches during the mentioned time. You may not be able to play the matches if you miss the time.
Respect competitive integrity:
One shall not meet with other players while in a competition. They shall not simply surrender the fights unless they take it.
We hope that you have understood the basics of PMCO. All the best everyone.
