War Mania Officials will host Battlegrounds Mobile India Cup (BGMIC) from 26th of May, 2021 where the old giants and the underdogs will be seen competing for the prize pool of INR 120,000.

Background:
Battlegrounds Mobile India is returning back after a long long time of its ban in India, where the release date is expected to be on June 10, 2021. The people of India and its eSports athletes have already started to enjoy its return. To spice things up, War Mania Officials, in association with OP Officials, has announced that it would host the Battlegrounds Mobile India Cup 2021, few weeks before the initial release of the actual game.
How will matches be played?
It is wide expected that the matches will not be played in the original BGMI rather it would be played in the global version of PUBG Mobile using VPN.
Are the registrations open?
Registrations for the tournament have already started from 15th of May.

List of Invited Teams:
The names of the invited teams have already been announced where the names of five out of six teams have been public whereas the sixth teams has been named Team Unknown.

- Orange Rock (OR)
- GodLike (GL)
- TSM Entity (TSMEn)
- Team Unknown
So, who's team unknown? When it comes to PUBG Mobile in India, and time to remember the old giants, one can never forget the name of Team SouL - the PUBG Mobile India Series 2019 Champions. So, team SouL is expected to be the remaining invited team. But, the lineup of SouL has not been revealed yet - which will probably be completely revealed tomorrow, dated 18 May, after the game becomes available for pre-registrations. Few leaks have been provided by 8bit "Goldy Jain" Goldy that the roster will comprise of Regaltos (Parv) and Viper (Yash). The rest three men are yet to be revealed.
