PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020 Season Zero whose league stage started on the 24th of November has ended on the 20th of December. PMGC is the biggest event organized every by PUBG Mobile Esports to date that carries a massive prize pool of $2 million. A total of 24 qualified teams from around the globe participated in this tournament in the league stage where only the top 16 teams have qualified for the Grand Finals.

Today, we are about to go back in time and have a league stage recap of the global championship season zero. We will check the day-wise and week-wise matches schedule, team performances, ranking, leaderboards, overall standings, and results of pmgc 2020.
Let us start with some minor queries regarding pmgc.
What does PMGC stand for?
PMGC stands for PUBG (PlayerUnknown's BattleGround) Mobile Global Championship.
Why is PMGC termed as season zero?
Amidst the global pandemic, pmgc couldn't be conducted live. Keeping the health of the athletes in consideration, PUBG Mobile Esports Official had taken a decision to conduct the championship online and offline. Due to these discomfort situation, pmgc is termed as season zero.
Okay, so we have cleared the basic queries related to the pmgc 2020. Let us now move forward to the recap of Week 1.
PMGC 2020: Week 1
The HYPE was real. PUBG Mobile Esports had created tremendous hype amongst the audience regarding the start of PMGC 2020. It was few weeks before it's start, the officials had announced that the team slots would be increased from 20 to 24 teams with an extra invitational slot that was given to the team from the host country 'Elites United Team'.
Week 1 started on the 24th of November, 2020. We kicked off the league stage with the weekdays for 2 days and then a super weekend for 3 days and ended on the 29th of November, 2020.
League Days:
The League Days were played on November 24 and 25, 2020. Each team played 8 matches in total.
A total of 12 matches (6 matches per day) was played where Bigetron Red Aliens topped the leaderboards with 178 points.
Super Weekend:
The Super Weekend was played from November 27 to November 29.
Zuxxy from Bigetron Red Aliens was awarded the MVP of Week 1. He secured 39 kills, dished out 8337 damage, and had an average survival time of 20 minutes and 13 seconds.
Team Bigetron Red Aliens ended on the first position of the overall leaderboards after the end of week 1. Here are the top 3 standings:
1. BTR RA - 178 points
2. RRQ Athena - 162 points
3. Klas Digital Athletics - 143 points
With the end of Super Weekend of week 1, we had one day break before we continued the second week.
PMGC 2020: Week 2
Every team in the second weekend had known one another and it was the real test of the team's preparation. The homework each team had done was to be checked on this week which was played from 1st of December to 6th of December, 2020. The 8 teams that couldn't qualify for the super weekend of week 1 had to put all their efforts to qualify for this weekend whereas the teams that played week 1's super weekend had to maintain the gap in the overall rankings.
League Days:
The League Days were played on December 1 and 2, 2020. Each team played 8 matches in total.
A total of 12 matches (6 matches per day) was played where Bigetron Red Aliens topped the leaderboards with 178 points.
Super Weekend:
The Super Weekend was played from December 4 to December 6, 2020.
Ryzen from Bigetron Red Aliens was awarded the MVP of Week 2. He secured 48 kills, dished out 10012 damage, and had an average survival time of 21 minutes and 12 seconds.
Four Angry Men (4AM) showed up this week and scored 178 points in total in super weekend. Here are the top 3 of Super Weekend 2 only:
1. 4AM - 198 points
2. BTR RA - 164 points
3. Power888 KPS - 137 points
Team Bigetron Red Aliens ended on the first position of the overall leaderboards after the end of week 2. Here are the top 3 standings:

With the end of Super Weekend of week 2, we had one day break before we continued the third week.
PMGC 2020: Week 3
Week 3 would really add some spice to the overall rankings of the PMGC 2020. Big names like Natus Vincere (NaVi) had not even made it into the super weekends previously. They were sitting at 0 points then. So, any team that would want to see themselves in the finals had to stick onto the top 16 of the league days. Week 3 was played from 8th December 2020 to 13th December 2020.
League Days:
The League Days were played on December 8 and 9, 2020. Each team played 8 matches in total.
A total of 12 matches (6 matches per day) was played where - topped the leaderboards with 178 points.
Super Weekend:
The Super Weekend was played from December 11 to December 13, 2020.
Again, Ryzen from Bigetron Red Aliens was awarded the MVP of Week 3. He secured 37 kills, dished out 8413 damage, and had an average survival time of 20 minutes and 26 seconds.
This week powerhouses such as 4AM, BTR RA, and RRQ Athena felt low when the EMEA and South Asian region teams played really well. Here are the top 3 of the super weekend 3 only:

3. Klas Digital Athletics - 137 points
Team Bigetron Red Aliens maintained their first position of the overall leaderboards after the end of week 3. Here are the top 3 standings:

With the end of Super Weekend of week 3, we had one day break before we continued the last and the final week.
PMGC 2020: Week 4
The last and final week of the league stages of PMGC season zero was played between December 15, 2020, and December 20, 2020. This was a do or die week for many of the teams. Team Secret and Nova XQF who haven't qualified for the third super weekend had to make sure that they qualify this time for the big prize money. Where other teams like EUT, The Unnamed, Execute, Archer Gaming and many more had to either play their first super weekend or return home without playing even one. So, everything was on the line: cash prize, respect, honor, position, points, and dominance. On the other hand, the top 5 teams wanted to finish as higher as possible. Because the prize money for the first position was $300,000 and that for the second was $125,000.
League Days:
The League Days were played on December 15 and 16, 2020. Each team played 8 matches in total.
A total of 12 matches (6 matches per day) was played where Nova XQuest F (NOVA Esports) topped the leaderboards with 116 points.
Super Weekend:
The Super Weekend was played from December 18 to December 20, 2020.
33SVAN from Four Angry Men was awarded the MVP of Week 4. His average survival time was 20 minutes and 35 seconds. He secured 30 kills for himself and dished out .. damage.
The competition was tough and mind-blowing. We saw aggressive gameplay from 4AM. On the other hand, 3 players from Loops Esports protested against their own organization as they didn't play the last few matches. Every team wanted to finish as high as possible. Where Archer Gaming who had nothing to lose felt no limit. They continuously wiped out teams that had everything to lose like Nova XQuest F and Blue Bees. Here are the overall standings of Super Weekend 4 only:

Team Four Angry Men stole the first position from Bigetron Red Aliens and won the league stage along with $300,000 prize money. Here is the top 3 standings of overall super weekends:

Overall Leaderboards:
Let us now see the overall leaderboards of PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2020. This ranking has been affected by the disqualification of Loops Esports from PMGC. Before disqualification, they were in 5th position but then they have been demoted to the 24th position due to which every team behind them have been promoted to one position. As a result, Team A1 eSports who was in the 17th position has qualified for the Grand Finals as they had been promoted to the 16th position.

Prize Money Distribution:
PMGC is a $2 million tournament. Since it is played in two stages: League Stage and the Grand Finals. The total prize money has been divided following equity. The League Stage had a base prize pool of $710,000 that was divided amongst the League MVP and all the 24 teams, except Loops Esports.

League MVP Player:
A player who is always there for the team even the team is alive or dead is a real Most Valuable Player. For Four Angry Men (4AM), it really was 33SVAN. Not only 33SVAN but also Sukk, Hasaki, and Xinhe also played amazing. But, the real MVP proved to be 33SVAN.
Along with the League MVP title, he has been awarded the 'Last Man Standing' title. He had an average survival time of 20 minutes and 04 seconds.
Also, he was awarded the 'Damage Master' title as he dishes out the highest damage in the league i.e. 32692 damage.
Throughout the tournament, 33SVAN secured a total of 144 kills, dished out 32692 damage, healed 18038 hit points as he had received 19539 damage in total. And, he was rewarded with $10,000.

Let us now discuss the statistics of PMGC 2020. Here, we will know who dealt the highest damage, who secured the most kills, which team has the most chicken dinners and so on.

Most Winner Winner Chicken Dinners
Starting off with the team that had the most chicken dinners. This team had earned a total of 14 chicken dinners throughout PMGC league stage. The team secured 465 kills and dished out a total of 98415 damage.
And the team is Four Angry Men.
League Terminator
This title is awarded to the player who secured the most number of kills. He secured a total of 149 kills, had 143 knockouts and dished out 28951 damage.
And the player is Sukk from Four Angry Men.
Combat Medic
Combat medic is awarded to the one who has been the doctor for the team. The player should heal themselves as well as revive their teammates when needed. This player fished out 31263 damage, healed 20865 hit points, and revived his teammates 31 times.
And the player is Ryzen from Bigetron Red Aliens.
Grenade Master
Grenade Master is the title awarded to the player who has perfectly utilized all existing utilities in the tournament. Especially the utilization of grenades and smoke grenades are taken into consideration. This player has used 201 grenades, 189 smoke grenades and secured 18 kills using the grenade.

This is an unofficial title that we have created on our own and is awarded to the player who secured the most number of kills in a single day. Yes, we have counted both Super Weekend and The League Days. Two players have tied this list having killed 17 players each.
And, the players are Earnny from RRQ Athena and Ryzen from Bigetron Red Aliens.
Most Kills in a single Super Weekend (Player)
This is another unofficial title that we have created on our own and is awarded to the player who secured the most number of kills in a single Super weekend. This player has secured a total of 32 kills in a single Super weekend.
And the player is Sukk from Four Angry Men.
Most Points secured in a Single Super Weekend (Team)
This is yet another unofficial title awarded to the team that secured the most number of points in a single Super Weekend. This team has earned 211 points in the fourth super weekend.
And the team is Four Angry Men.
Most Points secured in a Single Week (League Days)
This is the last unofficial title awarded to the team that secured the most number of points, both position and kill points in two-league days of a single week. This team secured 116 points in the League Days Week 4 of the league stage.
And the team is Nova XQuest F.
PMGC 2020 Grand Finals
The Grand Finals of PMGC 2020 will be a LAN event meaning that every player and each team participating in the grand finals will be playing it live from the Arena. For this, PUBG Mobile Esports has partnered with UAE to host the local event directly from the Arena on January 21 - 24, 2021.
