Grand Finals happened from 21st Of January and was expected to end on 24th of January. Due to health issues of the players, it was delayed by 2 days and will end on 26th of January, 2021. Nova XQF wins the Grand Finals. Sukk from 4AM is awarded the MVP player of PMGC 2020.
League Stage:
Four Angry Men, the two times PEL Champions wins the PMGC League Stage and take home $300,000 prize money and an additional $10,000 by 33SVAN for being the Most Valuable Player of the League Stage. Bigetron Red Aliens finished second in the overall rankings. RRQ Athena beat Konina Power just by a point and finish number 3 and 4 respectively. Loops Esports has been disqualified from PMGC for their act which was against competitive integrity. As a result, A1 eSports joins the other top 15 teams in the grand finals.

Introduction:
PUBG Mobile Global Championship will start globally from 24th of November, 2020. A total of 20 teams will compete in the league stage and later on, 16 teams will compete in the final stage.
Pubg mobile esports has been organizing massive tournaments to keep up with the changing world. It is continuously satisfying its audience by bringing major and minor tournaments throughout the season in most regions of the world.
However, the year 2020 has been a year of ups and downs for many organizations. PUBG Mobile Esports had recently completed the PMWL (Pubg mobile World League Season Zero) 2020 by dividing it in the East and the West regions. The tournament was hugely impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
On Fall split of 2020, PUBG Mobile has to launch the PUBG Mobile World Championship (PMWC) 2020, the season 2 of PMWC 2019. However, with the long lasting threat of the pandemic, officials have to follow the health precautions to prevent their players from being affected by the disease.
With all complexities, the officials found an easy way out. They planned to merge the PMWL and the PMWC as one giant event and announced the PMGC 2020 with the major announcement of the new Era on August 25, 2020 via their YouTube Live Stream.
PMGC will be played from regional studios built in different countries to prevent internet connection issues and troubles. PUBG mobile is managing to build esports studios all over the world. They have their main studio at Katowice, Poland. Due to health issues, players won't be travelling and hence, servers will be managed locally.
In Conclusion:
- PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2020 is a global championship for PUBG Mobile Esports formed by combining the PMWL and the PMWC (PUBG Mobile World Championship).
- 24 teams from all the regions of the world, including China, and Americas will be playing PMGC 2020 Season Zero.
- With the new era of PUBG Mobile, the director of PUBG Mobile Global Esports, James Yang announced the a global championship for PUBG Mobile Esports on August 25, 2020. This is the biggest PUBG Mobile Championship of 2020 with an overwhelming $2 Million prize pool.
