What is Spike?
Spike is the bomb in VALORANT.
If you want to win the round, you either need to eliminate the whole enemies, (if the Spike has not been planted yet) or diffuse the Spike (if you are the defenders) or let the Spike detonate itself (if you are the attackers).
So, you see, Spike is one of the most important item that you have to think twice of playing Valorant.
It adds so much flavour into VALORANT. If there were no spikes in the game, the match could run forever, unless the timer was not set for every round. It would be all fine if the Spike is not planted yet. But, when you hear that "Spike Planted" as a defender, your heart starts pumping unusually. Your body starts shaking. That's because, if you are unable to diffuse it in time, you loose the round.
But, if might become a boon for you, as a defender. When the attacker is about to plant ut, you hear that little sound. Then, you can rush into the attackers and kill them.
Spike in VALORANT, is the bomb that is spawned at the attackers side. To get the Spike, you simply have to run over it. However to drop the Spike, you need to press 4 and G in your keyboard.
Why do you need to drop the Spike?
Most of the times, when you are an attacker, you will have strategies into your mind. You might want to give the Spike to your teammate, if you are not confident enough to have it.
You might want to drop the Spike at a certain place and mark that place so whenever your teammates need it, they can come to that place rather than roaming throughout the map.
So, in these above mentioned scenario, you will need to have to drop the Spike for comfort and to advance the team to victory.
How do you drop the Spike?
On your keyboard, there are 10 digits, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and 0. 1,2, and 3 digits allows you to switch between your weapons while 4 allows you to switch to your Spike.
When you have the Spike selected, Hold G button on your keyboard and you will be dropping your Spike.
If you want your teammates to pick that up, tell him to run over it and that's it.
Spike has to be planted within the timer. If the timer goes off, your time to plant the Spike also runs by and you may end up loosing the game. Spikes may not be too useful Everytime but can prove to be a game changer.
Spike alone cannot make you win the round. You will need a proper gunfire to kill the opponents.

Ans: To plant a spike, you need to carry it. Get in the sites where the spikes can be planted. On reaching the site, you can press and hold '4' key on your keyboard. Within 7 seconds, the spike gets planted.

Ans: Diffusing the Spike is similar to planting it. Get near it, and press and hold '4' button from the keyboard. The spike gets diffused after 7 seconds.
How long does spike take to detonate itself?
Ans: The Spike's timer is 30 seconds after being planted.

If I had to choose one character out of all, I would go with BRIMSTONE. "You think I am an old dog? Huh!" The reasons I love this character more than anyone else is its abilities are simple to understand, yet effective.
It has a Molotov as an ability that shoots from his gun and has to be bought Everytime. Unlike others characters, we do not need to use too much geometry with this, using tactics would be enough.
His Ult is the best I have experienced so far. Send one of your teammates to scout for the enemies, know their exact location and then fire them up. Using his Ult, you can burn the enemies within a certain diameter with fire 🔥.

Valorant ranks:
Since the first beta release to now, VALORANT has been able to become a sensation among the players around the world. Streamers have loved streaming this game across various platforms and audience, too are liking this game.
Therefore, Riot Games have launched ranked mode inside the game (under competitive). However, these competitive matches do not unlock as soon as you start the game for the first time. You will need to play 20 unranked classic matches to be able to unlock the competitive mode.
Once you unlock the competitive mode, then you will have to play 5 placement matches. These matches will then decide your rank. These will place you in one of the given ranks below. After that, you can start ranking up.

How to Rank higher and faster?
As the game itself says, ranking is all depended upon your individual performance without neglecting the teams Performance. Meaning, your wins and looses will directly affect your ranking despite of your performance. But, this doesn't give you an allowance to play rough and let your team win the matches for you. You, too need to play tough and become the MVP in most matches.
For most of the players in the game, ranking gets tough even though they have won several matches in a row.
To get ranked easily, you will need to win every matches with greater differences. Close wins won't affect your rating as much as greater wins do. If your team scored 13 rounds and the opponent have just scored around 7 rounds, there is a higher chance for you to rank up.
Additionally, if you have just been ranked up so high, let's say in your initial placement matches, you jumped your rank to Gold I, then rating might be less effective to you. You will need to wait some days to get rating back to normal.

How to play this game?
There are total of ten players, divided into two groups, with 5 players in each group. One of the group is the attacker and the other is defender. The group that wins a total of 13 rounds wins.
The attackers will have the Spike spawned in their area. To win one round, attackers need to plant the Spike in the plant areas, and let it detonate itself or attackers should wipe out the enemy team.
For the defenders to win a round, they need to either diffuse the Spike or eliminate the attackers.
For the first twelve rounds, one group is the attackers and the other is defenders.
After the twelve round, the roles are swapped between the two teams. Meaning, attackers become defenders and vice-versa.
When any team has been continuously loosing rounds, they are asked to either quit or play, players can decide and implement the action.
Finally, as stated above, the group that wins 13 rounds becomes the winner.
In conclusion, VALORANT is an okay game for all PC gamers. All PC gamers like me, always used to have a dream to play games like GTA, with high graphics and all. VALORANT game fulfills that wish for me. Having only great graphics and supporting all low to high end devices only doesn't make this game the favorite. But, the continuous maintenance of this game and the gun skins are loved more. As discussed, gameplay is excellent.
