Overview of the features: Clash Royale
SUPERCELL has created and uploaded five games so far. Clash Royale was created about three years ago. This game has gained its audience and fan base internationally bringing a sensation among its fans through its tournament and challenges. Clash Royale is the only game that I have played since the first release. So, I would love to review this game in a non-biased manner. Today in this blog, I will discuss about Clash Royale, its positive and Negative aspects regarding its features available inside the game.

Clash Royale was released on January 4, 2016 AD. To be honest, I used to play Clash Of Clans during that time. However, I knew that this game was coming soon. I had waited for that day. I didn't have a decent smartphone to play it in. But, yes I was a true and a big fan of SUPERCELL. Therefore, I had thought of to play this game since its release.
I actually don't have those screenshots that would remind me of that time when it was first released. I also don't have a great memory of that time. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the game then and now, both.
Now, let me tell you what I think are the positive aspects of this game.
The first thing I love about this is how SUPERCELL evolved themselves. Before this, none of the SUPERCELL created games were actually multiplayer. This was the first ever online multiplayer game developed by SUPERCELL. Hay Day, Boom Beach and Clash Of Clans, all of these three games were online multiplayer but no realtime game. I was find of how this game provided this opportunity to battle between two players in realtime. Remember, this game was released before PUBG MOBILE or Free Fire or Call of Duty Mobile.
#1. Emotes:
Although this game doesn't provide you voice over in realtime, it does provide you really good emotes and default chats. You can either taunt the opponents using this or brag your coolest emotes. I do remember, during the release of this game, only 4 classic emotes were available in this game. This thing has evolved now and provides you hundreds of emotes that you can use.
With the addition of new cards (troops) in the game every season, new emotes become available every time. These emotes can come really handy to calm down yourself if you are raged up. However, if your opponent is dominating you continuously and you have been loosing games in a row. If you see your opponent use the emotes, you just get fired up and want to blast everything up. Well, it also has an option to ban the use of emotes which can help you probably.
#2. Pass Royale:
This feature has been newly added inside the game. It has been available since few months and has already boosted the earnings of clash royale too much. Players wanted something unique and special inside the game. Therefore, SUPERCELL added the thing which provides them unlimited advantages. With Pass Royale, one can unlock limited time emotes, tower skins, golds, gems, chests, unlimited entries in tournaments and many more.
Unlike the passes in other games, this Pass Royale costs just $5.63. Creator out there think little for income but more on satisfaction of the audience. Since the pass Royale is inexpensive, players from middle class family like me, can also afford this. However, the negative aspects of Pass Royale is it creates inequality among the players. Players with more money can complete every special challenges while the struggling players might not be able to. However, skills matter in the game. I always satisfy myself saying that skills are important in the games not skins and emotes!
#3. Game Modes:
This is the only game I have played so far with unlimited game modes. You will see game modes shuffling in the game every week. The permanent game modes in Clash Royale are: 1v1 battle, 2v2 battle, classic challenges and grand challenges. The rest modes keep coming and going. For instance, the special challenge. The Prince Joust is ongoing where prince are spawned in each side and you need to capitalize those princes.
Clan war is also a newly added feature inside this game. Other game modes are Double Elixir Challenge, Ramp-up Challenge, Wall Breakers Party, Triple Draft Battle, Classic Decks Battle and many more. Having so many game modes inside a game not only boosts the hype of the game but also provides a refreshment break to the players. Very less players play games for enjoyment. Most of them play it for ranking up. So, if you are having rank matches for hours, why not take a break and play some other chilling game modes! There is no any negative aspect of this feature in Clash Royale.
#4. Resources:
Development requires resources. This is a known fact. Similarly, development is a progress. Therefore, in every progressive games, you need to have resources that will help you to upgrade your levels and other useful items inside the game. Clash Royale has gems and golds as its resources. Gold is just an another way of representing money inside the games.
As Clash Royale is a royal game, including king and princess. Having money or dollars inside the game won't make much sense. So, the name added for currency : Gold was well thought and used. Gem means something that is very rare and useful. This is also one point that I love Clash Royale because it has only two resources. We don't need to spend too much to gain the resources. Gems can be wasn't from chests and climbing high in the ladder trophy. Golds can also be wasn't form chests, winning battles and donating cards to the clan members.

#5. Cards:
Cards contains troops, spells and buildings.
Cards in this game have their own degree of rarity. However, the strength of the cards doesn't depend on its rarity, if used properly. No cards in this game have been made invincible. If any card is overpowered or less powered then, they suffer nerf or buff in the upcoming update.
The rarity of the cards are: Common, Rare, Epic and Legendary. Common cards start at level 6, rare cards start at level 7, epic at level 8 and legendary at level 9. All these cards can be upgraded to level 13 costing equal golds for each upgrade. Once cards reach level 13, and you start earning star points, you can add special effects to the troops when deployed by upgrading their star level. Some cards in these games are too overpowered but have low Hitpoints but some are less powered but have more Hitpoints. So, it is all about how you use the cards, how you tank them and how you defend those. Cards are the main attracting feature of this game.
#6. Chests:
Now, let me tell you what you have missed of you started playing clash royale couple of years ago. To the release of Clash Royale, wooden chest, silver chest, golden chest, giant chest, epic chest, magical chest, super magical chest and legendary chest were the only chests inside the game. Then few years later, Legendary King's Chest was added to the game. Finally, with the addition of Lightning Chest, Mega Lightning Chest and Fortune Chest, Super Magical Chest was removed from the game. These chests reward you resources and cards of different rarity with the rarity level of the chests. Legendary Chest is the only chest that guarantees a legendary card opening. Other chests only have a possibility of getting a legendary card.
Epic chests rewards you only with epic cards in a high amount. Mega Lightning Chest rewards you troops in a greater number. Every lightning chests give you a chance to strike the cards you don't like to get another. Depending on the rarity of lightning chests, you get more or less strikes. The rest chests have an equal probability of getting every cards.
#7. Leagues:
Clash Royale has a lot of Arenas. Once you pass Arena 10 and gain more than 4000 trophies, you'll be added to a league which will upgrade as you increase your trophy count. Here are the Arenas, their names and trophies required to reach each of them:

#8. Clan and Clan Wars:
In a battlefield, you need to have your amigos. They support you and strengthen you. Clash Royale provides you the feature to create your own Clan or join others' and build an alliance. You can request and donate cards as well as trade cards with the members of a clan. There
are four degrees of a member in a clan. In descending order, the members are: Leader, Co-Leader, Elder and Members. The promotions can only be done by either the leader or co-leader of the clan. Now that one has created an alliance, its time to battle others. One clan can go on a clan War with four other clans.
There are two days of clan wars. On the first day, each one of the member gets three attacks to collect the cards. The more the cards you collect, the better advantage you get. The second day is War Day where participants get a chance to battle a single 1v1 match against any one of the opponent clan. If you win the battle, one crown gets added to your clan's overall result. You need to collect as much crowns as possible to become the winner. As a reward, you get trophies for your clans and a chest for you. So, this feature is my loveliest in the game.
#9. Tournaments, Challenges and More.
Clash Royale has two constant challenges inside the game that have been there since its beginning. The custom tournaments have been removed from the game. Clash Royale League is the most awaited tournament inside the game. This league can make anyone from a common player to a star. You will have to get the 20 wins to qualify for this league. Once you are qualified, CR asks you to join them on their LAN tournament.
Then, if you perform well and make into the finals, you will be renowned all over the world and win handsome prize money. Clash Royale constantly brings challenges and special challenges in the game. These create a separate enjoyment to the players. This is the mode to cherish yourself and forget all the worldly sorrows. You will have some supernatural powers in these challenges. 🤣

#10. TV Royale:
The last but not the least feature of Clash royale is another way to get recognized among other CR players around the globe. TV Royale is a collection of battles being played in the Arenas between players that have a close ending.

It consists of all 13 Arenas inside the game. Battles from all these arenas are grouped and shown to the people. Its not that easy task to get featured in this TV. You need to play some decent matches with decent strategies to get featured here. Nevertheless, you can have an awesome time if you get featured here. Although, I have never been feature there but I have no negative things to speak for it.
This was our detailed overview of the features of Clash Royale on our perspective. For some points, we described what we liked and what we did not like about the game. To sum up, Clash Royale is the best online game that I have ever played.
