PMPL South Asia (Season 1) 2021 - Championship Finals will begin from 10th of June, 2021 to 13th of June, 2021 for a total of 4 days. This final will include teams from South Asia regional finals, PMCO Wildcard and PMCO HTM.

What to expect?
PUBG Mobile Professional League South Asia 2021 Championship Finals will be a thriller to watch if DRS Gaming will be able to stick to the #1 position or will Z3US Esports get back what belonged to them? Will we see the former PMPL SA 2020 Champions Abrupt Slayers (now Skylightz Gaming) defend their title? Or will we see other teams rising up to claim this title?These four days will be packed with tremendous back to back actions.
The HYPE is Real
PUBG Mobile eSports Officials have been continuously trying to hype up this situation. In the regional finals, we saw a great rivalry being build up between DRS Gaming and Z3US Esports. Not between the teams but among the fans. Z3US who dominated the tournament with aggressive gameplay lost their first position due to their same nature of the game. Whereas, DRS Gaming who did not dish out a single damage in the final match won the tournament and secured the title - PMPL SA S1 Regional Champions 2021.

PMPL South Asia Season 1 - 2021 Group Stage
A total of 20 teams divided into five groups, each consisting of four teams played against one another in the group stage for a three weeks from 23rd Match - 11th April, 2021.
For every win a team would secure, they would be awarded with a $1000 prize. In simple language, a team would receive $1000 for every Winner Winner Chicken Dinner.

Z3US Esports secured the first position in the group stage with a total of 447 points and bagged away $7500.
DRS Gaming and Trained To Kill were tied up with their total points. Both of these teams had secured 392 total points. But DRS Gaming was awarded the second position as they had more placement points. Both of them received $7500 as the prize money.
Similarly, CNE (Carnage Nepal Esports) who secured 378 total points ended fourth in the group stage and got $6500 as the prize money.

The top 16 teams from the overall standings qualified for the Regional Finals of PMPL South Asia 2021 Season 1.
PMPL South Asia Season 1 - 2021 Regional Finals
The top 16 qualified teams from the group stage played against one another from 15 April to 18 April, 2021. In the span of 4 days, 24 matches were played which would determine the winners, runners up and the rest teams.
Z3US Esports continued their aggression in the finals as well. They challenged every single squad and we're fearless. However, it kind of costed them, as well. In the last match of the Finals, DRS Gaming needed well above 10 points to win the tournament but Z3US needed a little more. Z3US took every single fight in front of them. But, DRS were completely passive. They did not engage themselves into a single fight as well.
PMPL South Asia Season 1 - 2021 Regional Finals (Top 8 Rankings)
All thanks to Nima (player from DRS), DRS Gaming (273 points) won the regional finals and bagged away massive $10,000 prize money. Z3US Esports (271 points) won the hearts of many but they couldn't secure the first position. They received a $6,500 as prize money. These two teams were also qualified for the PEC 2021.
7Sea Esports with 194 points secured the third position and received $5,000 prize money. DeadEyes Guy who finished fourth with 193 points won $4,000 prize money.
