PMCO 2021 - Spring Split Date, Regions, Registration, Prizepool, Qualification, Eligibility and FAQs

On December 31, 2020, PUBG Mobile Esports had announced that PMCO 2021's registration would be open for every region included in the circuit from January 1 to January 24, 2021. On the new year, i.e. January 21, a lot of information has been added to the official website of PUBG Mobile Esports that clarifies the start date, registration, regions, qualification, tournament process, and eligibility criteria.

Schedule:

This is the schedule and fixtures of the PMCO 2021 Spring Split Group Stage. Only two groups shall four matches in one day. The rest of the two groups rest for that day. A total of 12 matches played by each team will decide the top teams that will qualify for the PMCO Semi Finals.

Day 1 Groups A & B | Matches - 1: Erangel, 2: Sanhok, 3: Miramar, 4: Erangel

Day 2 Groups C & D | Matches - 1: Erangel, 2: Sanhok, 3: Miramar, 4: Erangel

Day 3 Groups A & D | Matches - 1: Erangel, 2: Sanhok, 3: Miramar, 4: Erangel

Day 4 Groups C & B | Matches - 1: Erangel, 2: Sanhok, 3: Miramar, 4: Erangel

Day 5 Groups C & A | Matches - 1: Erangel, 2: Sanhok, 3: Miramar, 4: Erangel

Day 6 Groups D & B | Matches - 1: Erangel, 2: Sanhok, 3: Miramar, 4: Erangel



Qualifiers - CLOSED:


Each registered team can play three matches (Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok) each day for a total of 7 days through the PMCO sub-menu in the game.

VIKENDI will not be played during the PMCOs.

Similarly, for each kill, a team is rewarded with 1 extra points.

The group stages and the grand finals will be following the standard PUBG Mobile Points Distribution System.

Registrations - Closed:


Here are the steps to register in the tournament:
  1. Follow this link "PMCO" and visit the official landing page of PMCO 2021 Spring Split.
  2. Scroll few pixels and you will see three menus: Introduction, Registration, and FAQs.
  3. Click on the Registration button that will load the registration page.
  4. A list of rules and requirements will be shown to you. Everyone in your team must follow the mentioned rules.
  5. Scroll below and you'll see a registration form just like this one:

  6. Now, fill in your team members' details and click the submit button.
Then, your squad will be officially registered for the PMCO Spring Split 2021. You will have to wait a few days before you can finally play the in-game-qualifiers.

Date Announcement:



PMCO 2021 will continue from 1st of January to 28th of February in which the tournament has been divided into four stages: registration, qualification, regional group stage, and regional finals.

The registration will be open for all included regions from January 1 to January 24, 2020. Once registered, the teams will be allowed to play in-game classic matches in all four available matches. This in-game qualification will continue from 1st of February to 7th of February for around 1 week. On the basis of the results, teams will qualify for the regional group stage that will be played from 18th of February to 21st of February, 2021. Only the top 16 teams will qualify from the group stage to the grand finals that will be played from 24th of February to 28th of February, 2020.


Regions Announcement:



In 2021, participating regions have been increased to 27. New regions have been added whereas the existing regions have also been divided into a national-level competition. Here is the list of regions that will be able to participate in the PMCO 2021 Spring Split:

CIS, Africa, North America, HMT, Wildcard, Europe Wildcard, Mena Wildcard, South Asia Wildcard, LATAM Wildcard, Southeast Asia Wildcard, Malaysia & Singapore (MYxSG), Turkey, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Saudi Arabia, IRAQ, Egypt, UAE, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.


Prize Pool Announcement:


The entire year of 2021 for PUBG Mobile Esports will be a worthy year in terms of prize money. A total of $14 million is expected to be spent in all tournaments that will happen throughout 2021. In the PUBG Mobile Clubs Open Spring Spring Split 2021, PUBG Mobile Esports has announced to spend $1,642,400 (in words: one million six hundred and forty-two thousand four hundred dollars).

Eligibility:


PUBG Mobile Esports has strict rules and regulations in terms of eligibility for any of its tournaments. The players should be complete 16 years from their date of birth. A citizenship certificate will help them better. Here are the key points to be remembered:
  1. Teams should have at least 4 players or at maximum 5 players registered for the PMCO.
  2. At least three of the registered players should belong from the same region.
  3. Only mobile devices (smartphones) are allowed to be used. Using tablets or emulators is strictly prohibited.
